# About Tiny d10
Tiny d10 was first put to paper in 2013. Back then, it was just a couple of brief paragraphs consisting of a few [Original Dungeons & Dragons](https://archive.org/details/dndbook1/mode/2up)-inspired races and classes, each equipped with an ability or two. It was simple—simpler even than it is today—with just enough rules to provide just enough structured play for a couple of preschoolers. In the intervening years, it grew alongside those same preschoolers: first to one page and then to two, before settling finally—and serendipitously—on 10.
It is meant to be fast, fun, and above all, extensible. It was designed, from the very beginning, to be made your own.
**Would you like to know more?** Next to simply [[Downloads|playing the game]], there is perhaps no better source than the following video by the gentleman and wargaming scholar, Mr. Jon Mollison. I am eternally grateful for the time he took to make it, but even more importantly, the effort he expended to understand Tiny d10 like few ever have.
