# Monster Hunting
After defeating a challenging or rare monster like a dragon or giant spider, PCs may wish to harvest any valuable components from its remains. Roll once on the Monster Harvest Table to determine the type of resource recovered, then roll on the Harvest Quality Table to determine the yield quality.
>**Note:** The exact form of the harvested material is determined by the monster itself. Additionally, most monsters will not possess all five types of resources and game master's will need to use their discretion to determine which categories are represented.
